Located east of the Israeli West Bank barrier, 2.3 kilometers from the Green line in the southern Hebron Hills just north of Meitar, it falls under the jurisdiction of Har Hevron Regional Council. Teneh Omarim is situated 4 km south of Ad-Dhahiriya.

Located on a hill 600 metres above sea level, it is organised as a community settlement and falls under the jurisdiction of Har Hevron Regional Council. Shim’a is situated 4½ km southeast of Ad-Dhahiriya.
