Village
Wakan, Wukan or Wekan is a village in the wilayah of Nakhal in Oman. It lies on the slopes of the Wadi Mistal mountains at an altitude of approximately 1,500 metres above sea level in the Western Hajar Mountains, 140 kilometres from Muscat and 56 kilometres from Nakhal. Wakan is situated 2½ km north of Al ‘Aqr.
