Sirkeli Höyük

Sirkeli Höyük is one of the largest tells of Cilicia with an area of approximately 80 ha. It is 40 kilometers east of the city of Adana, northwest of the village Sirkeli in the district of Ceyhan, at the breakthrough of the Ceyhan through the Misis Mountains. Sirkeli Höyük is situated 2½ km east of Altıkara.

Yılankale is a late 12th–13th century Armenian castle in Adana Province of Turkey. It is known in Armenian as Levonkla after its possible founder—King Leo I the Magnificent of the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia. Snake Castle is situated 3½ km northeast of Altıkara.
