El-Marg station is a station on the Cairo Metro that is located at El-Marg district in north east Cairo, Egypt. It is on Line 1 and is an above ground station.

Heliopolis was a major city of ancient Egypt. It was the capital of the Heliopolite or 13th Nome of Lower Egypt and a major religious centre. Its site is within the boundaries of Ain Shams and El Matareya, districts in northeastern Cairo. Heliopolis is situated 4 km southwest of El Marg.
