Al Khor, officially Al Khor and Al Thakhira, is a municipality in northeastern . , the municipal seat, is located on the northeast coast of Qatar, around 50 kilometres from the capital, and is considered to be one of Qatar's major cities.

The Al-Khor Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in the coastal town of Al Khor, in northeastern . The stadium is home to Al-Khor Sports Club. The capacity of the stadium is 45,330, making it one of the larger stadiums in the Qatar Stars League.
