Village
Agubedia is a village in the Tkvarcheli District of Abkhazia, a partially-recognized state but nominally part of Georgia. As of 2011, the village had a population of 787, of which 75.7% were ethnic Abkhaz and 23.1% were ethnic Georgians with others being Russians, Mingrelians and Ukrainians. Agubedia is situated 6 km west of Zemo-Chkhortoli.

Tkvarcheli is a town in Abkhazia, a breakaway region of Georgia. It is situated on the river Ghalidzga and a railway connects it with Ochamchire. Akarmara, an area within the town, is a ghost town with abandoned apartments and factories which became uninhabited in the early 1990s due to the War in Abkhazia, and is home to just 35 residents today. Tkuarchal is situated 8 km northwest of Zemo-Chkhortoli.
