Machara

Machara is a village in the Gulripshi District of Abkhazia. It is located on the Black Sea coast on the Machara River around 8km east from the capital Sukhum and around 2km from the district centre of Gulrypsh.

Kelasuri Wall

The Kelasuri Wall or Great Abkhazian Wall is a stone wall located to the east of Sokhumi in Abkhazia, Georgia. The exact time of its construction is not known; several dates ranging from antiquity to the 17th century were suggested, although more recent works have provisionally favoured construction in the 6th century AD.
