Szirma

Szirma is a suburban area of the city of Southeast Miskolc, Hungary, with a population of 4235. Szirma once was a village and has been part of Miskolc since 1950. Nowadays it is a peaceful and a family-friendly area with easy access to city centre.

The Tiszai Railway Station, operated by Hungarian State Railways, is the larger of two railway stations of the city of Miskolc, Hungary. Despite its name, the station is not close to the river Tisza; it was named after the company that built it. Miskolc Tiszai railway station is situated 3½ km northwest of Szirma.

Görömböly is a place in Miskolc, Hungary. Görömböly was once known for their wine. However, due to a spread of Phylloxera, the amount of vineyards in the city plummeted. Görömböly is situated 3 km southwest of Szirma.
