Borsod Power Plant

The Borsod Power Plant was one of Hungary's largest biomass power plants having an installed heat capacity of 200 MW and electric capacity of 40 MW. During the 1950s, the plant was one of the biggest coal-fired power plants in the country. Borsod Power Plant is situated 3½ km northeast of Kőkúttanya.
