Terme, formerly spelled Termeh is a municipality and district of Samsun Province, Turkey. Its area is 548 km2, and its population is 71,092. Terme is located on Terme River, about 5 km from its mouth, on the eastern end of the Çarşamba Plain. Terme District is situated 6 km northwest of Veziroğlu Çayı.
