Tuzla station is a station, under construction, on the Marmaray commuter rail line in Tuzla, Istanbul. It was previously a station on the Haydarpaşa suburban and the Haydarpaşa-Adapazarı Regional until 2013, when all train service east of Pendik was suspended. Tuzla railway station is situated 2 km east of Tuzla İstasyonu.

Sedef Shipyard is a Turkish shipyard established in Gebze, Kocaeli in 1972. The shipyard moved to Tuzla, Istanbul in 1990. The shipyard is building defense industry ships and commercial ships such as the multipurpose amphibious assault ship TCG Anadolu to be used by the Turkish Naval Forces.
