Alçıtepe, also known by its former name, Krithia, is a small village in Turkey on a commanding high plateau, about 4 miles from Cape Helles, the tip of the Thracian Chersonesos, now Gallipoli Peninsula. Alçıtepe is situated 7 km southwest of Behramlı.

Eceabat is a town on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Eastern Thrace, in the west of Turkey. It stands on the European bank of the Straits of Dardanelles and traditionally was one of the main crossing points: on the Asia side is Çanakkale, the chief city of the area. Kilitbahir is situated 8 km east of Behramlı.
