Akçaabat is a city in the Eastern Karadeniz region on Turkey's Black Sea coast, to the west of the city of Trabzon. Akçaabat is known for its local soccer team Akçaabat Sebatspor, its kofta dish Akçaabat köfte, and the Akçaabat Horonu dance. Akçaabat is situated 3½ km southeast of Ahanda.
