Pihtla is a village in Saaremaa Parish, Saare County in western Estonia. Before the administrative reform in 2017, the village was in Pihtla Parish. Pihtla is situated 9 km south of Putla.

Valjala is a small borough in Saaremaa Parish, Saare County in western Estonia. As of the 2011 census, the settlement's population was 410. St. Martin's Church stands in the center of Valjala; it is the oldest stone church in Estonia. Valjala is situated 9 km northeast of Putla.
