Halvmånesundet
Halvmånesundet is a strait between Halvmåneøya and Edgeøya, Svalbard. It is located east of the peninsula with the headland Svarthuken. The strait has a width of about 1.8 nautical miles at the narrowest point.Places of Interest

Halvmåneøya is a small, uninhabited Norwegian island off the southeastern coast of Edgeøya, part of the Svalbard archipelago. Halvmåneøya, as part of Edgeøya, has been a nature preserve since 1973, and visitation is strictly regulated. Halvmåneøya is situated 3½ km east of Halvmånesundet.
