Tkhaba-Yerdy Church

Church

Tkhaba-Yerdy is the ruins of the largest medieval Christian church in Ingushetia, Russian Federation. It is located deep in the Assin Gorge between the auls of Khairakh and Puy, Dzheyrakhsky District, near the border with Georgia.

Egikal is a city-settlement in the Dzheyrakhsky District of Ingushetia. It is part of the rural settlement of Guli. Within its territory are numerous cultural monuments of ancient and medieval Ingush architecture: cyclopean tower-type dwellings, five combat towers, six semi-combat towers, and fifty residential towers. Egikal is situated 2½ km north of Khamkhi.

Targim is a city-settlement in the Dzheyrakhsky District of Ingushetia. It is part of the rural settlement of Guli. The territory of the settlement is included in the Dzheyrakh-Assa State Historical-Architectural and Natural Museum-Reserve and is under state protection. Targim is situated 3½ km northeast of Khamkhi.
