Gyumri K’aghak‘

Gyumri is the second largest city in Armenia and the capital of Shirak Province in Northern Armenia. The city was hit hard by the 1988 Spitak earthquake, the consequences of which are still visible throughout the city in the 2020’s.

Gyumri City Stadium is an all-seater football stadium in Gyumri, Armenia. It is currently the home venue of the Armenian Premier League club FC Shirak of Gyumri. The current capacity of the stadium is 4,000 seats.

Sev Berd or Black Fortress is an abandoned Russian imperial fortress in Gyumri, Shirak Province, Armenia. The fortress, which lies 8 kilometres from the Turkish border, was built in response to the Russo-Turkish War of 1828–1829.
