Sev Berd or Black Fortress is an abandoned Russian imperial fortress in Gyumri, Shirak Province, Armenia. The fortress, which lies 8 kilometres from the Turkish border, was built in response to the Russo-Turkish War of 1828–1829.

Gharibjanyan, known as Aleksandrovka until 1935, is a village in the Akhuryan Municipality of the Shirak Province of Armenia. The village was renamed in 1935 in honor of Bolshevik leader Bagrat Gharibjanyan, killed in 1920. Gharibjanyan is situated 4½ km south of Arapi.
