Next to the village of Solila also the following fokontany belong to this municipality: Soanierana, Tearomizaha, Ambalamahatsara, Ipaka, Kirano, Fihasinana, Ambatovory and Ankazomanga It lies at the Mananantanana river. Solila is situated 5 km northeast of Sakay Rivière.
