Band-e Qarghah
Dam
Qargha Dam is located in the town of Qargha, about 10 mi west from the Shahr-e Naw neighborhood of Kabul, Afghanistan. It is an embankment dam built on the Paghman River, with a side channel spillway under the road running on top of the dam.
Charahi Qambar
Residential area
Charahi Qambar is the name of one of the refugee camps in western Kabul. It is a collection of mud-walled dwellings next to at least one multi-storied cement building. Children died of the cold during the winter of 2012. Charahi Qambar is situated 3 km southeast of Qargheh.
