Kokcha River
The Kokcha River is located in northeastern Afghanistan. A tributary of the Panj river, it flows through Badakhshan Province in the Hindu Kush. It is named after the Koksha Valley.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Ai-Khanoum was an important city a few centuries BCE when Alexander the Great and his successors ruled Bactria. Today it is only ruins and is in Kunduz province, Afghanistan.
