The Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant is a 2.4 GWe nuclear power plant in Bangladesh. It consists of two 1200 MWe VVER-1200 reactors. The nuclear power plant is located at Rooppur in Ishwardi Upazila on the bank of the river Padma, about 160 km northwest of Dhaka. Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant is situated 580 metres west of Pāksey.

Bridge

The Lalon Shah Bridge, also known as the Pakshey Bridge, is a major road bridge in western Bangladesh. It spans the Padma River, connecting Ishwardi Upazila in Pabna District with Bheramara Upazila in Kushtia District. Lalon Shah Bridge is situated 2 km west of Pāksey.
