Bogawantalawa, also spelt Bogawanthalawa, is a small town in the Central province of Sri Lanka. It is at 1514 m elevation above sea level, about 150 km east of Colombo, famous for its tea estates. Bogawantalawa is situated 6 km east of Upcot.

Norwood is a village in Sri Lanka located within the Central Province, near the banks of Kehelgamu Oya, a tributary of the Kelani River. In 2017, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a gathering of Indian-origin Tamils at Norwood, in the presence of the Sri Lankan president, prime minister, and other community leaders. Norwood is situated 7 km north of Upcot.
