Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India is a large Hindu temple complex inspired by Yogiji Maharaj the fourth spiritual successor of Swaminarayan, and created by Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the fifth spiritual successor of Swaminarayan according to the BAPS denomination of Swaminarayan Hinduism. Akshardham Temple Complex is situated 3½ km south of Pethāpur.
