Ahmedabad is the seventh largest city in India with a population of 8.5 million. Although it is the commercial hub of one of the most prosperous states of India, Gujarat, it's not the state capital, which is its twin city of Gandhinagar, 30 km to the north.
Dadra and Nagar Haveli

Dadra and Nagar Haveli is a district of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu wedged between the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat. The two taluks – Dadra and Nagar Haveli are separated from each other by a few kilometers – are both on the west coast, at the mouth of the Daman Ganga river.
