Kurseong is a town in the Darjeeling Hills of West Bengal. The town is also known as the "Land of Glorious Sunsets" because it faces the western part of the hills, and the sunset is visible through a glorious mix of clouds turning crimson, yellow and red. Kurseong is situated 6 km north of Pankhabari.

A hill station in the Darjeeling Hills of West Bengal, Mirik has become a tourist destination for its climate, natural beauty and accessibility. The centre of all attraction is the Sumendu lake made by surrounded by a garden on one side and pine trees on the other, linked together by an arching footbridge called Indreni Pull. Mirik is situated 10 km northwest of Pankhabari.
