Jiegao is a border trade zone in southern China near the border with Myanmar. It is located 6 kilometres southeast of Ruili and is part of Yunnan province. Jiegao is situated 2 miles northeast of Ho-paw.

Ruili is a county-level city in Southwest China on the border with Myanmar in the western part of Yunnan Province. It is a major border crossing between China and Myanmar, with the town of Muse across the border.

Mengmao is a subdistrict in Ruili, Yunnan, China. As of the 2016 statistics it had a population of 104,681 and an area of 232.3 square kilometres. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Ruili. Mengmao is situated 4½ miles northwest of Ho-paw.
