Sopore is a city in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is 45 km north-west of Srinagar, and 16 km north-east of Baramulla. Sopore is one of the largest subdivisions in Jammu and Kashmir, consisting of seven tehsils and the state's oldest existing subdivision. Sopore is situated 4½ km east of Reban.
