Zaranj Airport was an airport located in the city of Zaranj, Nimruz Province, Afghanistan. It was replaced by the newly constructed Nimruz Airport, located 17 kilometres east of the city. Zaranj Airport is situated 3½ km south of Bunyād.

Zaranj, also known as Zarang, is a city in southwestern Afghanistan, which has a population of 160,902 people as of 2015. It is the capital of Nimruz Province and is linked by highways with Lashkargah and Kandahar to the east, Farah to the north and the Iranian city of Zabol to the west. Zaranj is situated 6 km south of Bunyād.
