Ak-Ölöng is a village in the Issyk-Kul Region of Kyrgyzstan. It is part of the Tong District. Its population was 2,142 in 2021. It lies about 5 kilometres inland from the western bank of Issyk Kul lake. Ak-Ölöng is situated 6 km southeast of Gora Bozbarmak.

Balykchy is a city of 51,000 people at Issyk Kul. It was the center of the lake's fishing fleet, but has suffered a major decline since the collapse of the Soviet Union. It now only on the path to the tourist sites of the lake, but largely by-passed.
