Hải Vân Pass
The Hải Vân Pass, is an approximately 21-kilometre long mountain pass on National Route 1 in Vietnam. It traverses a spur of the larger Annamite Range that juts into the South China Sea on the border of Đà Nẵng and Huế, near Bạch Mã National Park.Photo: Andre Hospers, CC BY 4.0.

The Hải Vân Tunnel, the second longest tunnel in Southeast Asia and the longest in Vietnam at 6.28 km, lies on Highway 1 between the two cities of Da Nang and Huế in central Vietnam. Hai Van Tunnel is situated 3½ km west of Hải Vân Pass.
