Legazpi Airport was a major airport in the Bicol Region, served the vicinity of Legazpi, the capital city of Albay in the Philippines. Prior to its closure, the airport was designated as a Class 1 principal domestic airport by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, a body of the Department of Transportation responsible for the operations of most airports in the Philippines.

The summit rises to about 512 feet, affording excellent views of the Mayon Volcano to the northwest and the entire city and Albay Gulf to the east. Ligñon Hill is situated 3 km west of San Roque.
