Ligao is a city in the west coast of Albay in the Philippines. It is a young city, having only given that status in 2001, and is largely agricultural in background.

Polangui is a landlocked municipality of Albay in the northwest quadrant of the province and serves as the gateway via Asian Highway 26. Along with neighboring Libon, it borders Rinconada District of Camarines Sur. Polangui is situated 4½ km northwest of Oas.
