Maimbung, officially the Municipality of Maimbung, is a municipality in the province of Sulu, Philippines. According to the 2024 census, it has a population of 85,681 people. It was the seat of the Sultanate of Sulu. Maimbung is situated 4½ km north of Maimbung Bay.
