Hinatuan is a municipality in the province of Surigao del Sur, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 43,841 people. Hinatuan is approximately 44 kilometers north of Bislig, a city in the same province and 132.7 km north of Tandag, the provincial capital.
