Guinobatan is a landlocked municipality in the province of Albay, adjacent to the city of Ligao and alongside the Asian Highway 26. It is one of the five municipalities that has a jurisdiction over the foothill of Mayon Volcano. Guinobatan is situated 9 km south of Basag.
