Slim River is a small town in Muallim District, Perak, Malaysia. It is about 100 km from Kuala Lumpur. It is situated in the southern part of Perak and is 20 km north of Tanjung Malim. Slim River is situated 2½ km northeast of Sungai Terolak.

Trolak is a small estate town in Mukim Slim, Muallim District, Perak, Malaysia. It houses many FELDA explorers since circa 1960s with a rubber plantation, later changed into an oil palm plantation. Trolak is situated 8 km north of Sungai Terolak.
