Silicon Island is a man-made islet currently under reclamation off the southern coast of Penang Island in the Malaysian state of Penang. It is located 350 m off the shoreline of Penang Island and lies within the jurisdiction of George Town. Silicon Island is situated 2½ km southwest of Bukit Kelompang.

The Snake Temple, also known as the Temple of the Azure Clouds, is a Chinese temple within George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. Located at Bayan Lepas, the temple is well-known for being a refuge of resident snakes, said to be reincarnated disciples of the deified Buddhist monk Master Qingshui, to whom the temple is dedicated. Snake Temple is situated 3½ km north of Bukit Kelompang.
