It lies in the Tonlé Bassac River near Chaktomuk, where the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers meet and the Bassac River branches off; it forms part of Chamkar Mon District and faces Koh Norea across the river. Koh Pich is situated 10 km south of Kaôh Ŏknha Tey.
