Mount Takahara is a stratovolcano in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. It comprises three volcanic cones, Myojindake, Maekuroyama and Shakagadake, situated within the Shiobara caldera. Mount Takahara is situated 3 km southeast of Nikkō National Park.

Hunter Mountain

Hunter Mountain Shiobara is a ski area in Nasushiobara, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, which was developed by the owners of Hunter Mountain in New York. It is the largest snow resort in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. Hunter Mountain is situated 2½ km north of Nikkō National Park.
