Arch of Triumph

The Arch of Triumph is a triumphal arch in Pyongyang, North Korea. It was built to commemorate the Korean resistance to Japan from 1925 to 1945. It is the second tallest memorial arch in the world, after Monumento a la Revolución in Mexico, standing 60 m high and 50 m wide.

Kaesŏn Station is a station on Chŏllima Line of the Pyongyang Metro. It is located near the Arch of Triumph and Kaesŏn Youth Park. The station was refurbished in 2019 with new lighting and TVs to entertain waiting passengers, as well as LED signs showing train information and local weather.
