Pohuwato is a regency of Gorontalo Province, Indonesia. It is located on the northern peninsula of the island of Sulawesi. It was established on 25 February 2003 under Law Number 6/2003 by splitting off from the western part of Boalemo Regency.- Type: Locality with 136,000 residents
