Capel is a town in the South West region of Western Australia, located 212 kilometres south of Perth and midway between Bunbury and Busselton. The town is located on the Capel River and is approximately 19 metres above sea level. Capel is situated 4½ km southeast of Capel River.

Forrest Beach is a rural locality of the Shire of Capel in the South West region of Western Australia, located on Geographe Bay. In the east, a section of the Tuart Forest National Park is located within the locality while, in the south, it stretches to the Ludlow River. Forrest Beach is situated 6 km southwest of Capel River.
