Alma is a locality in Victoria, Australia, along the Maryborough – St Arnaud Road, west of Maryborough. In the 2006 census, Alma and the surrounding area had a population of 692. Alma is situated 4½ km southwest of Bowenvale.

Maryborough is a large town in the Central Goldfields region of Victoria, Australia. Home to 7,900 people in 2016. It was settled in 1840, and grew significantly once gold was discovered in 1854. It is known locally for hosting the Highland gathering.
