The Muogamarra Nature Reserve is a protected nature reserve that is located in the Sydney region of New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The 2,274-hectare reserve is situated in the northern edge of Sydney and lies between the suburb of Cowan to the south, and the Hawkesbury River to the north.

The former suburb of Berowra Creek was composed of several different waterfront locations near and around the 30 km long Berowra Creek watercourse, within the Hornsby Shire Council area. Berowra Creek is situated 2½ km northwest of Berowra Creek.

Brooklyn is a small fishing town perched on the banks of the Hawkesbury River, making it one of the most northerly areas of Sydney. As it's south of the Hawkesbury, it's still considered to be a part of Sydney and it and some nearby islands such as Dangar Island are a part of Hornsby Shire Council.
