Taheke River

There are two Taheke Rivers in the Northland Region of New Zealand's North Island. One flows north from its origins in hills to the east of Whangārei reaching the Waitangi River to form the Horahora River, which runs into Ngunguru Bay.

Taheke or Tāheke is a village and rural community in the Far North District and Northland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It is located west of Kaikohe and east of Waima on State Highway 12. Taheke is situated 4½ km southeast of Taheke River.

Waima Valley

Waimā is a community in the south Hokianga area of Northland, New Zealand. State Highway 12 runs through the area. The Waima River flows through the Waima Valley into the Hokianga Harbour. Rawene is to the north west, and Kaikohe is to the north east.

Omanaia is a settlement in the Hokianga area of Northland, New Zealand. It is part of the Hokianga South statistical area, which covers the southern side of Hokianga Harbour between Rawene and Koutu. Omanaia is situated 9 km west of Taheke River.
