The Suva Fiji Temple is the 91st operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The intent to build the temple was announced on 5 April 1998, by church president Gordon B. Suva Fiji Temple is situated 3 km west of Samambula East.

Vodafone Arena is an arena in Suva, Fiji. The arena was constructed for the 2003 South Pacific Games that was held in Suva. Today, it is primarily used for netball and was intended to host the 2007 Netball World Championships, before Fiji's hosting of the event was cancelled in the wake of the military coup of 5 December 2006. Vodafone Arena is situated 4 km southwest of Samambula East.
