The Chiesa Matrice, is the principal Roman Catholic church in Erice, Sicily. Commonly referred to as the Duomo di Erice or Real Duomo, it was built in the early 14th century during the reign of King Frederick III of Aragon and is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Chiesa Matrice, Erice is situated 3½ km southeast of Pizzolungo.
