Locri Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary in the city of Locri, in Calabria, Italy. Since 1954 it has been the seat of the bishops of Gerace-Locri, now the bishops of Locri-Gerace.

Epizephyrian Locris, also known as Locri Epizephyrii or simply Locri, was an ancient Greek city in Southern Italy. It was situated in Calabria on the Ionian Sea, and was established as a Greek colony at the beginning of the 7th century BCE by settlers from Locris in central Greece. Locri Epizephyrii is situated 4 km southwest of Locri.

Gerace is a town and comune in the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria, Calabria, southern Italy. Gerace is located some 10 kilometres inland from Locri, yet the latter town and the sea can be seen from Gerace's perch atop a 500-metre vertical rock. Gerace is situated 6 km northwest of Locri.
