Shapwick is a village and civil parish in east , England, situated on the River Stour 5 mi south-east of and 8 mi north of . The village had a population of 175 in 2021.

The is one of a pair of twin obelisks erected at Philae in in the second century BC. It was discovered by Giovanni Belzoni in 1818, who had it brought to in , , where it still stands today. is situated 2½ miles east of Shapwick.
